Q: My display has 18-bit color, but your systems are 16-bit. How do you map the colors?

When in 16 bpp mode, Eurotech systems use six bits of green and five bits each of red and blue ("5-6-5" scheme). To achieve full black-to-white range, Eurotech's cables map the panel's red and blue LSBs to the MSBs of the display driver.
