Q: I have an eVB application in the Startup folder of my ATA/Flash disk. When the system starts up, the application displays for a fraction of a second and then the Desktop paints over the top of it. How can I bring my app to the forground on startup?
You have a couple of options. If the Desktop is not going to be used, you can suppress it.
If you want the desktop, add a call to Sleep as the first line of executed code in you app. This provides time for the shell to display the desktop before your application paints itself.
