Q: What's a good way to get started with Visual BASIC programming on your system?

Here are some ideas:

  • Try one of the sample programs provided with eMbedded Visual BASIC (look under ...\Program Files\Windows CE Tools\WCE30\\Samples\eVB".
  • If you have an ActiveSync connection established, you can run your application remotely. An Ethernet connecting eliminates the wait of a serial connection.
  • Look over the eMbedded Visual BASIC help files. Start with the "Contents, MS eMbedded VB->Welcome..." sections.
