Does the Bitsy/Bitsy Plus SmartIO have any protection to ensure the IO comes up low during power-up?

The ADSmartIOs are configured as inputs at power-up. If you need them to be low during boot, use pull-down resistors to hold them in a known state. 10k resistors are typical, but you may want to use larger values if you are concerned about power consumption.
