How is a PS2 mouse conected to a Bitsy board?
Are the PS2 keyboard and mouse mutually exclusive?

Hi Bruce. The Bitsy PS/2 socket only works with keyboards. You can USB or serial mice on the Bitsy.

What are the issues with using a PS/2 mouse via the PS/2 keyboard connector on BitsyX? The data and clock signals are there. Is it a matter of drivers, or is there a hardware problem?

The keyboard connector does not support a mouse. You can use serial or USB mice with the Bitsy family of products.
If a PS/2 mouse is a must-have, you might consider the Graphics Master, which supports both PS/2 keyboards and mice.
