Q: The touch panel requires me to double-tap faster/slower than I think my users will normally use. How can I change it?

Please try the following procedure for selecting a double-tap speed that's acceptable for your application:

  1. Open the Stylus applet in the Control Panel.
  2. Experiment with double-tap speeds until you find one that is acceptable.
  3. Click OK in the Stylus Properties applet.
  4. Run the WindowsRegedit application and open the HKEY_CURENT_USERControlPanelPen key. If Regedit was already running, you may need to refresh in order to see the Pen key.
  5. Record the (hex) values for DblTapDist and DblTapTime
  6. Modify your ADSLOAD.REG file with the (hex) settings you recorded in step 4.
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Pen]
    "DblTapDist"=dword:05
    "DblTapTime"=dword:125
