 ActiveSync Error when Connecting to Bitsy

Q: When connecting to my Bitsy with ActiveSync the connection get established but then ActiveSync reports a long error message that begins with "Synchronization cannot be started because partnership information could not be accessed on your mobile device. Disconnect your device...." This message appears for about 1 second and then the connection get dropped. What's going on?

This is a known problem with our Build 3.12 of CE 3.0 (you can check your build number by connecting to the device's debug port with HyperTerminal and booting the system). Upgrade your CE image to the most recent image (download the image here).

Note: Upgrading the image requires erasing the Flash disk. Please read the file titled 'ADS_Bitsy_CE_10MB_read.txt' included in the image download file before upgrading.

If you can't connect at all, or the connection gets dropped, make sure the Bitsy serial loopback connections are set.
