Q: My system has 32MB flash. When I ran the EraseFXDisk application, the system got very slow. Now when I reset it, my system doesn't boot at all. What happened?
  • You may not have given your system enough time to reformat the disk. Systems with 32MB or more of flash take longer to format. An 18MB flash disk takes about 65 seconds to erase the disk. CE then restarts and reformats the flash disk. This takes another minute.

  • If you pressed the reset button during the erase cycle, you will have to power-cycle the system to restart it.
