Q: How can I send data to and receive data from an ADS system using a desktop PC or server?

Microsoft ActiveSync provides an excellent set of Remote APIs (RAPI) that allow you to open files and data stores, create processes or even build custom RAPI functions. The eMbedded Visual Tools Help lists all of the supported RAPI functions, plus we have a sample that illustrates creating custom RAPI function here.
