Bitsy Windows CE Boot Code

Boot code for the Bitsy is stored in onboard flash and can be updated in the field. You may need to do this to support performance improvements or newer features of Windows CE builds.

Select the boot code for your system based on the amount of DRAM installed. "No CF" builds of the boot code ignore the Bitsy compact flash port during boot; use these builds if you have a peripheral that uses the Bitsy CF as an expansion bus.

Instructions are included in each ZIP file for how to update the boot code.

32MB DRAM
  • Standard: 1.76-32M

  • No CF: 1.75-32M-noCF


    • 64MB DRAM
  • Standard: 1.76-64M (needed for CE builds dated July 2002 and later)
