Five-wire touch panels have greater durability and longevity, and are a good choice for embedded applications that see heavy service.

We've used a number of third-party, five-wire controllers. All communication with our products via a serial port. Typically, the drivers must be built into the CE image. To meet needs like your own, we have added a factory option for a five-wire touch panel controller on the upcoming Bitsy Plus.
