Q: How can I play multi-media files? Does Windows CE have DirectX support?

ADS provides the "MaxDX" build of Windows CE, which includes DirectX and support for a variety of multimedia formats.
You can download this image for most ADS products from the CE Developer's Page. Load the image onto your system according to the instructions in the Windows CE Developer's Guide. The image is probably going to be larger than your current image, so make sure to follow the instructions on how to modify the ADSLOAD.REG and .HWT files.
