My system is two boards. One on top of the other.

The top board:
110111-80011_Bitsy_Companion(CF)_Users_Manual.pdf

The bottom board looks almost identical to this one with a few minor exception... (Dip switches.. 4)
bitsy_Manual.pdf

It doesn't look like this:
gm_Manual.pdf

So what is this?

You definitely have a Bitsy with a personality board (which may be either Compact Flash or Ethernet). The Graphics Master is a single board with both a PCMCIA and CF slot on it, along with 2 USB Host ports, 2 PS/2 ports and an ethernet connector. It's also about 5" x 7" in dimensions.

Please if you could, explain the dip switches on the bitsy.
There are four on one red bank labeled 1 to 4. However only
two as per the documentation seem to show on line 7 of the boot log
and it doesn't make sence that there are five possible settings in
the manual. If appears to me also that they are labled backwards...
i.e. switch one on the bank of four is really switch 4....

Brian: Take a look at this addendum to the CE Developer's Guide, which describes how the Bitsy uses the DIP switch settings with Windows CE.
