Further Reading: EIA/TIA-232 (RS-232)

The following links are web pages that offer information about EIA/TIA-232, the serial communications standard known to most of us as RS-232. The current standard is at revision F.

Note that most sites below list information about 232C handshaking. For details about EIA/TIA-232E, see ADS forum post 410. Be aware that some information may refer to older standards.
