Windows CE Debug Port

The CE debug port displays information about the progress of the system boot sequence. It can also be useful for capturing error messages that can occur while your application is running.

Most ADS systems use COM3: for the debug port. Settings are 38400 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity and no handshaking (38400 8N1). Use a null-modem cable to connect PC to your device. Use a terminal application like Hyperterminal to monitor debug output.
